Skull Dungeon from Zelda: Oracle of Ages (Mario Paint)
Twenty-first video. This is the background music for the fourth dungeon of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. Situated inside a volcano in Symmetry Village, this dungeon only becomes accessible in the present after you fix the Tuni Nut to ensure Symmetry Village's survival in the past. Shaped like a skull, it is known as the Skull Dungeon.\n\nI always liked the Symmetry Village storyline; permit me to spoil it a bit for those who have already played the game and wish to remember it or for those who haven't played the game and are curious. When you initially arrive in the present, the village is found to be in ruins. After traveling back to the past, you learn that the Tuni Nut of Symmetry Village was broken, and since perfect balance is the law of the land, the volcano, conveniently located in the middle of the town, was going to blow up. Thus, you have to journey to the mountains where a hermit named Patch will repair the Tuni Nut, allowing the village to be saved in the past and prosper in the present. Then, finally, it is safe to go inside the volcano and collect the Essence of Time in the Skull Dungeon.\n\nI initially thought that this was going to be a Game Boy-heavy piece; however, even with the echo, the Game Boys were just too short to sound good. So I decided to use cars instead. One of my favorite dungeons and also one of the most challenging (good luck especially if you're one of those people that tries to beat a Zelda game without taking a single hit of damage), I hope you enjoy the composition.
