Wing Dungeon from Zelda: Oracle of Ages (Mario Paint)
Eighteenth video. This very brief theme is the background music for the second dungeon of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, known as the Wing Dungeon.\n\nFrom my experience, this is actually one of the trickiest dungeons in the game despite being only the second. I loathed the rolling block puzzle in one of the earlier rooms; when I played through this dungeon initially. I didn't quite grasp the concept that you need to roll it in tight circles to allow the desired color to fit, and I must have spent at least an hour just moving it about in my frustration. The boss (Head Thwomp) was equally frustrating. To beat him you throw a bomb inside him when the red-colored head is showing, but it is fairly difficult to master the timing of your throw. Since you have only four heart containers at this point in the game, it doesn't take many mistakes before your life is lost. I've been stuck in this dungeon for so long that I've probably heard its background music for at least 500 repetitions, no exaggeration. \n\nWell, I figured it was about time I continued with the Oracle of Ages dungeons. This one was so short and simple that I was actually able to make use of the Loop function; no separate clips on Windows Movie Maker were necessary (though I did use that program for trimming). As with Catfish's Maw, I did this one mostly for completion's sake; more Oracle dungeons are on the way.
