I do miss the Quest(1) OLED black levels, like inside the cinema, but the G2 blacks aint bad and the projected movie itself is very nice. Btw SkyBox VR lets you tweak the brightness and contrast a bit, although you quickly lose details so use with care. Of course G2 is all about clarity and sound, and it is there that I find a big step up compared to Quest. Imho 1080p material is perfect for the SkyBox/G2 combo, because although the G2 resolution is higher, the projected cinema screen (esp when sitting at the back in the cinema) uses only a part of the G2 screen. In this clip The Matrix was 1080p and Apocalypse Now was 2160p ... I didn't notice much difference when watching. I tried 720p too, and there I noticed a difference in clarity on screen. Ymmv
