Skygo Boss 150 (LIFAN) - 2 weeks cold start + Warmup procedure (Nibbi PE26+Pod Filter) Philippines
7Sharing since it might help other new owners thinking there's something wrong if their bike starts but won't rev.
Cold start + Warmup procedure after sitting for *almost 2 weeks*, carb is a Nibbi PE26 + pod filter.
Notes:
- Was easy to startup with full choke but not ready to ride until almost 4mins warmup.
- The pod filter makes a 'suction' sound you can hear on video that really helps to know it's not ready to ride yet, if you rev harder it will stall the motor, with the stock airbox you can only tell as the motor sputters right before it cuts out.
- The choke procedure for stock carb should be the same, full choke for initial start(all the way 'up') then switch to half choke during warmup until the throttle response is fast, choke off to ride.
- If riding daily this normally takes just 30seconds to 1min, the weather and time of day can make a big difference, early afternoon is usually more optimal, midday, easy start & warmup here in the mountains, early mornings are harder start & longer warmup.
- Sitting for 1-3 days about 2mins warmup.
- 1 week+, 2-3min+.
I'm at high altitude so thing could be a little faster/slower at sea level depending on time of day but you can at least get a better idea on how to warmup the bike.
