Skyrim 100% Maximized Legendary Playthrough - 260. Labyrnthian Chasm and Thoroughfare
1We continue delving into Labyrinthian in search of the Staff of Magnus. There's not too much to say about these two zones. They're largely standard Nordic ruin fare, so we just execute our standard operating procedure. Nevertheless, there are a few unique things to spice up the exploration.
At one point we have a fight with a wispmother and wisps in a graveyard. Wispmothers are pretty rare even above ground, so putting one in a Nordic dungeon makes for a nice change of pace from endless numbers of draugr.
Speaking of draugr, we get our first encounters with the spectral draugr that inhabit Labyrinthian. Besides having unique skins, they also wield the unique spectral weapons that can only be found here - the Drainblood Sword, Drainheart Battleaxe, and Drainspell Bow (I might have some of the prefixes swapped as I'm doing them from memory). They'll make fine additions to our weapon collection, and it's a real shame that there's no way to apply these unique skins to weapons of your own making in the game.
The other unique item that breaks up the monotony here is the occasional visions of Savos Aren's group, who we gather are starting to drop one by one as they encounter the denizens of the dungeon. Next time we'll head into the final zone - Labyrinthian Tribune - to discover the ultimate outcome of their expedition.
