Whether you're new to Skyrim or an old hand like me, sometimes your brain just messes up. As is the case with this bug (well, sort of bug) where you seemingly can't unlock new magic shouts using dragon souls.

It's a simple case of you pressing the wrong button! On the PS4 if you press X to unlock the shout you get an error message saying you need dragon souls to do so. Even if you have dragon souls on hand... In reality, you need to press square to unlock the shouts.

I don't know why that message exists when you hit X - and it doesn't help that square is X on the xbox one. So X is the correct button on the microsoft console but wrong on the PS4!
