Solved: How do you adjust brightness/gamma in Skyrim?

Problem: You can't see the details in the shadows, it's too dark and there is no option to adjust the brightness or gamma in the game menu.

NOTE:
This method only works in tv/ docked mode not in hand held mode to my knowledge.
