The new, free for a limited time, survival mode update just dropped and I wanted to take a quick look at what it does. The update allows you to experience Skyrim in a more realistic setting.

You cannot fast travel.
You cannot level up unless sleeping.
Carry weight has been limited.
Non weighted objects now have weight.
Your magicka, stamina, and health can be hampered by the type of climate, whether you're hungry, dressed appropriately, and well rested.

Just go to Creation Labs from the main menu and install the Survival Mode. You can turn it on or off from the Gameplay Settings in game.

Join me as I'm walk from Red Eagle Redoubt back to Whiterun to test out the new features.
