This chapter was so stupid and here i thought the book was gonna get interesting again.
I mean the mere fact the life force of a human is not a fking battery that you can just recharge, i thought having that common knowledge both parties would agree that this is a dire situation to sever ties to the existential "can't move on until i find my murderer" being and it was a top priority??? INSTEAD WHAT DO WE GET??
A FKING HANGOUT SCENE AND TO DEPLETE EVEN MORE LIFE FORCE WE HAVE A STEAMY SCENE ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
It's like writers laughing in my damn face. "Watch us write more weird shit and you can't do nothing about it"
Like okay you wanna write nonsensical smut then go ahead. But why are you trying to make it like it's some peak fiction and playing around the actual stuff that you care about. I mean no one wants to see useless chara development that the chara themselves forget the next chapter only to have a mindless smut scene every chapter?
Acting like they have morals and justifying a ghost sx scene is just crazy, i don't know bout y'all but this book in all is very weird to me.
Also for the sake of youtube walkthrough i have been selecting romance choices but can someone confirm if you don't select romance choices do we get to reject her (LI) advances or have neutral options this chapter? cause there were none today.
Also the ending scene was so dramatic? what is she gonna walk off to? a fking door to afterlife, wasn't MC a medium who is supposed to help with that stuff? LMAO i guess Li's plan is to keep depleting MC's lifeforce cause we know it's not a physical string, it's not tangible, so moving to another country would still decrease MC's lifespan. Li wants to take her down with them.
Every week these new weird books come out and i am like thanos saying to witness book "perhaps i treated you too harshly". cause at least that book was funny and not 35 minutes long trying to play pretend like it's the greatest romantic tragedy.
It's not fun to come every week and keep ranting about this app and spread negativity, that's not my intention. I want to love this app and keep playing more new stories but so far it isn't doing a good job in that department.
