So, we finally have come to the end of another game and, like per usual, I'm going to give my thoughts on the game. So, Overall, I really enjoyed this game since it felt very much like the original game with some much needed extra things. I really like the new health system to the game; not having to worry about getting hit once or twice to then restart the entire level is always great. Speaking of the levels, I really liked how they went about them during this game. Instead of having a hub we move around to specific missions, we get this small area to explore, both during missions and outside of them. The Almighty bottle hunt has returned in this game however, instead of having them in every level, they are now within the main world hub. Not really sure why but, I'm okay with it. On the topic of levels, I really do like that they have been giving Murray and Bentley more things to do within the game and having missions specifically for them (even though Murray got the short end of that stick). They each play slightly differently from each other; Sly is more mobile and faster, Murray is Tankier and can dish out some alright damage, Bentley is the only one that I didn't like running around as. He is weaker than Murray and doesn't have any really good escape mechanics like Sly so, getting caught as him really sucks.
The Levels themselves were really cool and each had a different spin on them. The overall story was okay; I thought it was odd that they based it on Clockwerk's pieces instead of making a new villain but, in terms of how it was told, everything was really well put together. It had some nice twists and, I will say some of them were kind of cliche/expected (Neyla betraying everyone etc.). The music was nice; each world had their own feel to them as well as the little sound you get from completing a mission is great. Graphics were pretty decent although, that being said, I should mention that I'm playing the HD version so, there is that.
Overall, the game was pretty good all round. There were a few things that either didn't make sense to me or where rather annoying (Like trying to jump on something and then having Sly jump to some other thing twenty feet below me) but, in the end, I enjoyed my time.
After this game, I will be moving onto Ratchet and Clank 3 then, more than likely, I will return to finish the Original Sly Trilogy (The ones that were release on the PS2; I don't have Thieves in Time as of yet so, there is that).
