This is a relatively minor hack that changes a few key instruments in the music of Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World to match the SNES version better.

This replaces the Yoshi Drums with ones that are much closer to the original samples from Super Mario World on the Super NES, and also replaces the horn sample that is used in ghost houses and fortresses or castles in order to make them feel closer to the SNES version while providing a still rather unique flavor due to the fact that the rest of the music is unchanged.

Note that this affects the music on the title screen since it uses the same drums. Let's hope for a complete music restoration in the future.

This video is additionally using the experimental XQ GBA Audio feature from the mGBA emulator, which bypasses the internal audio mixing software that runs on GBA to remove the fuzzy, radio-like compression on the GBA's audio. You can find another example of that here:
