For those wondering why this is broken, I'll explain it a bit since I know event stuff for SMBX.

When you tell an event to "Autostart" that tells the game to start this event once the level is loaded. For whatever reason, episodes with "auto-restart level" on in the settings makes that Autostart event bug out and "forget" to start up again.

That left the first part of this castle super bugged and three times easier.
