SMILE Tutorial - Eris Room
NOTE: This is with SMILE 2.5 - A download has been provided in the links at the bottom.
I live stream this as a test and the result was really choppy. I hope I explain this clear enough in the edit here as it jumps all over the place.
Today we are looking at how to do an Eris style room. The basics of it are longer hallways, a scrolling speed for the BG being picked, and the foreground and background layers being built on their opposite layers. To get the effect, you put your usual layer 1 tiles onto layer 2, and do the reverse for the background tiles.
