This is the point in the game where I just cried... I love this game so much that I reviewed it on my gaming blog two years ago.

To me, Earthbound was a masterpiece that taught me so many lessons that no human, book or school could teach me. Emotion.

To put it lightly, my brain was wired a little differently. It helped me a lot academically, but I really struggled socially and emotionally. I couldn’t read social cues and couldn’t tell how a person was feeling unless they just went out and told me “I’m feeling sad/happy/whatever”. Same with my own emotions. I could feel them, but never fully understand them or expressed them, until I completed Earthbound. Hearing this song for the first time somewhat unlocked something inside of me. I cried for the first time in years. Since then, I’ve been improving on my emotional knowledge and know why different people feel different things at different times.
