Smooth Spyder idler test video
42OK so the story behind this video. I got the Smooth Spyder and on the way to work heard a "whine". I was worried something was not working right! I emailed Jim at Smooth Spyder about the noise. But before he could respond, I strapped my Drift HD camera to the swing arm to see what was going on. In the mean time, Jim at Smooth Spyder who I emailed about the whine, told me it was normal and happens on some Spyders, I won't go into all the details on that convo but it was VERY informative! Then I watched my own video! This shows the truth!
Jim stand behind his products and my concerns were GONE especially after watching this video of the idler "in action" and doing it's job just fine! I have to say..... Next to the Baja Ron Sway Bar, this upgrade is right there next to it! I cannot believe the difference this made in my vibrations on the LA freeways at 75 MPH!
Oh and anyone from SRA-LA group, I would be happy to help install yours should you decide to get one. It's freakin EASY! It would take me like 20 minutes max :)
Finally just to say.... I am not sponsored or anything from Jim at Smooth Spyder! I paid the price like everyone else! So this is in no way blowing smoke up anyone's ass! I love this product! It's worth every penny! And unlike the competition, Jim put FAR MORE research into this and I am convinced he has the best product. In my opinion anyway. Your mileage may very :)
