Today we return to the sporadic Stoned Monkey Radio Goes Retro series with another of Janeiac's wasted youff games - Lord of the Rings Vol.1. It turns out it hasn't aged nearly as well as she remembered but theres still a lot of love there for this, now somewhat crusty, adventure title.
And as a special treat theres a sample of the tutorial with a fair amount of giggling and not much genuine commentary XD

Lord of the Rings Vol 1 was released in 1990 by Interplay in collabortaion with Electronic Arts and the 'Enhanced CD-ROM Cinematic Multimedia' version (shown here) was released in 1993 featuring cut-scenes from the 1978 film Directed by Ralph Bakshi (not show here for fear fo copyright issues with YT)
