I've done this 3 times now. The first 2 times I did it, my jump dive went much higher because of a faster BLJ. I rarely upload 2 videos a day, but this was just too awesome!

Here's some tips:

1. Line up the camera with the vine.
2. Once you hit the vine, climb to the top. The chain chomp can't hit you there.
3. Get out of Mario cam. Click C-Left until your camera gets like mine.
4. Make sure the camera isn't zoomed out.
5. Time sliding down the vine with the chain chomp attack.
6. Hold straight down and when you think it's the correct frame, press Z + C-Up together.
7. Press A + B as fast as you can after the Z + C-Up.
8. If you get lucky enough, you'll achieve the same result demonstrated here.

It isn't VERY easy to do, especially not consistently. I would rate the difficulty the same as trying to get hyperspeed flying outside of the castle in SM64.
