One of my earliest remixes that I'm remotely proud of. @Scooter102089 and I were having a mini competition with each other on making a remix on this song, but when I finished mine he sorta gave up "since I'm clearly the best!!" (that's a joke). This song was featured in Krack The Hack before it was made publicly available to use.

This is a very nontraditional remix of the stage theme, basically sounding like a completely different song. I generally didn't like remixes that "just" takes the original song and add brand new samples, which was why I went this route. It sounds like one of those remixes you hear in the latest Donkey Kong Country games where the 'remix' is hidden as a leitmotif in a new track.

Since this is a much earlier remix, there's a lot more Final Fantasy V sampling going on. I did also add an (admittedly weak) square sample and also a slap bass as part of the melody.

I think if I were to touch this one again, I'd play around with key shifting/expanding the second half, even making it far longer. This works for shorter stages, which is what Krack the Hack's use was.
