SnackTime 2021 - Episode 1: Valentines post-mortem
2Hi! Thanks for reading the description, even though this is not an entire formula change for snacktime as i had hoped, ALOT is still new! Thus, there were numerous hiccups which indented this video. Firstly, the microphone extender added a hum, causing the sound quality to drop significantly, unfortunately i was potato enough not to catch this in time, so im gonna figure this out by the third episode (yes, second episode for this year was filmed in the same batch). Secondly, the massive effort that went into the new intro and outro meant that the episode was HEAVILY delayed, to the point of it being completed in JUST a week before it reached its *second*, pushed back live date. Phew! Thirdly, after a family occurrance, my entire home got reorganized, it has lasted for months, this also meant that i now had room *specifically* for filming! So, i thought a new backdrop would be appropriate, unfortunately, thats what the camera focused on, and since this thing has no manual focus, i could not fix this either. Im gonna have to figure out how to de-emphasize the background (or change it entirely) and get sharper visuals for the snacks instead. Again, changes to this are visible only from 3rd episode later in the year.
In other SnackTime news: one season is now all of the episodes released that year, not 10 episodes. this means a season can have less (or more) episodes than used to. This is due to a couple things, one of which is that SnackTime being pushed back in lieu of other content (this year is heavy on chiptunes) aswell as there not being that many new interesting snacks on the market. If you are in Estonia and want to request a snack i usually dont notice, you can do so in my discord (link below in the socials).
If you however want to comission a standard season (10 episodes, 30 snacks in total) of SnackTime about *YOUR* country (or state if in the USA), you can send me the snacks you wish to feature, but the discussion of the details of recipience will continue in DMs on discord only. Considerations in the snacks you pick are the following: They have to be manufactured either IN the country (or state) you are in, or made BY a company residing in your country (or state). A snack which is manufactured in many places (such as coca-cola, oreos, lays) are not allowed as they dont have a singular current place of origin and are snacks belonging to multiple regions. The snacks need to be *unique* to your country (or state). The comissioner is responsible for the cost of the snacks and shipping, no additional cost is incurred for production of the videos.
