Snap-To in Unity

Here's a tutorial on how to make things snap to a grid (or whatever) in Unity. If all your stuff snaps to the same scale, Unity now supports that inherently - look that up.
But if you have rooms that snap on one scale and items that snap on another scale and so on, those tools fall short. This is how I do it.
Also included: how to make the parent object get clicked when you click a child object.
