Baldur's Gate 3 (bg3) got an update in the form of Patch 1 recently and it is now possible to apply sneak attack so some spells. The spells that allow sneak attack in Baldur's Gate 3 at the moment require attack rolls and that you have a finesse or ranged weapon equipped. Spells that force saving throws do not let sneak attack be activated.
