Paladins are a great class in Baldur's Gate 3, and well known for the "nova" potential i.e. doing lots of damage in a single attack or round of combat. Usually this involves relying on critical hits, which this build partially does. This paladin also makes use of the savage attacker feat and half-orc subrace to enhance critical hits a lot.
