This is the longplay of the game Hyper Iria, the game released exclusively in Japan for the Super Famicom, published by Banpresto. It is a Run and Gun / Platform game, where we control Iria, a highly trained bounty hunter, whose mission is to go after Zeiram, as well as end the alien race that the villain has brought to our toast planet. To help her, she relies on Bob, a kind of computer that once was human, which gives her the coordinates of each mission, as well as her device that she uses to fly and reach the places.
The game is based on an anime, which by the way originates from a Japanese live-action movie called Zeiram. This film was released in 1991 and made a relative success. He tells of a battle waged between an alien space being that invaded our planet (Zeiram) and a bounty hunter named Iria. I will not go into the merits of describing the entire storyline of the film, but to put it, the IRIA anime takes place before the movie, telling the story of Iria and the characters, their entire development, and how it all culminated in the film. Yes. The game, Hyper Iria, happens AFTER the anime and BEFORE the movie, that is, it's all a prequel, a Japanese thing really, that confuses more than it explains.
It is a good game, where we can choose the mission we want to go and the weapons, besides earning money for destroyed enemies and ranking in the phases. The greatest care is to choose the weapons for the mission and also to manage their ammunition, but it is also possible to punch and kick enemies. This version has been translated into English, thanks to Dynamic-Designs and Matt's Messy Room for doing such a magnificent job.
