The first in the now-long-running farming simulation series. After fumbling about aimlessly for a while, I went for a near-perfect ranch master score in this longplay, reaching 998/999, with every possible post-marriage "good" ending sequence obtained. The imperfect score is due to the fact that my affection score with Ann (who I married) was maxed out--due to some wacky bugs, to get the highest ranch master score at the end of the game it's actually preferable to stop harvesting crops or building relationships at a certain point; you'll notice that I end up destroying leftover crops at the end of the second summer. Long segments of me buying very large amounts of seeds or building relationships by talking to girls over and over were cut.

I apologize for the very uneventful nature of the latter half of year two and all of year three. At that point basically everything that had to be done was already done; there was absolutely nothing left to spend money on, and the only necessary chore was to feed the cows. At the very least, it proves that one can mess up badly in year one and still finish perfectly with time to spare. -
