Where to start , at first this game charms you with its looks , art and presentation till you get to the first obstacle .. its control scheme ...
Welcome to the age when manuals where a thing and tutorials to teach you the basics did not exist , so your first thing is to figure out how to crawl ... you can't ? so , what now ... You must teach yourself how to RUN ... to do that you have to have 3 blocks of space, and then you press Left or Right THREE FUCKING TIMES !!! ... THREE BLOCKS AND THEN THREE TIMES THE DIRECTION ... that registers randomly , so random you will break your controller ... (and imagine you have to do that to jump run in pixel perfect places)
OK , now you can RUN ... then what now ? ... when you run , you slide when you press the ATTACK button and press DOWN ... so ,THREE BLOCKS OF SPACE AND THEN THREE TIMES THE DIRECTION , THEN PRESS ATTACK AND DOWN ... to slide , wow ... and if you ask , yes they WILL OVERUSE THIS NONSENSE SLIDE every time they want to make you rage quit ... there is no fucking way you can beat this game in a normal way , then in a emulator with quick saves
So you get labyrinth like levels with a awful timer , death traps , riddles , combat sections that cheat like crazy ... bosses that do the same ... all time with good sounding muzak , and nicely done cutscenes
So ... you will get to experience the game you would rage ... the whole journey ... till we beat that fucker Nosferatu and bang our girl...
