Snow Particle and Ground Model Testing
Mountain is from Meshroom scan from Google Earth. I just baked the normals from a 3 million poly model to a 19,000 poly one. Groundmodel is that same Snow2 I shared a while back. For this I edited that particle emitter #3 which the emiiter's particle is dirt/dark or something.. Change the texture to snow bomb, and the colors to white. Adjusted the particle settings to be affected more by wind so when you kick up snow, or fall into snow it will look like drift. The texture paint is one of the dusty loose ones. Since the model itself has the snow ground model, it allows you to sink into it enough to touch the actual terrain block with that dirt terrain paint with the modded particle. Only bad thing is if I have a dirt area, that dirt will also kick up snow.
