Get in the driver's seat of powerful vehicles as you conquer extreme open environments with the most advanced terrain simulation ever. Drive 40 vehicles from brands such as Ford, Chevrolet and Freightliner as you leave your mark on an untamed open world.

Explore the surroundings

As soon as you have passed the tutorial, start by exploring the Black River region with the Chevrolet CK1500. The goal is to familiarize yourself with the different grounds, the controls of the vehicle, but especially to locate the watchtowers, vehicles and hidden upgrades in the area

The Importance of watchtowers

The watchtowers are indicated on your map. When you reach a watchtower, press the indicated button to observe the surroundings: this way you will know the location of contracts, tasks, vehicles and upgrades. In addition, using a watchtower allows you to reveal all the roads in the surroundings.

Upgrades

As soon as you’ve spotted upgrades in the area, go get them with your Chevrolet CK1500 or any other scout vehicle.

Now let’s move on to driving on difficult ground. When you’re on a dry road or path, you can drive at auto speed, without having to use any other option. However, once you get into the mud, things get more complicated. The first thing to do is to switch to low speed: hold down the LB, L1 or LShift key, then select the low speed indicated by the letter L. In low speed, the vehicle will be slower, but will reduce the risk of getting stuck.

Winch

The winch will quickly become your best friend during your explorations. Not only does it help you get out of the mud, but it also allows you to tow bogged down vehicles. To use the winch, press F (PC), Triangle (PS4) or Y (Xbox One) to hook the winch to the nearest tree or pole.

If you are still stuck with the previous elements, don’t panic. From any place, open the “functions” menu, select “recover” and validate. Your vehicle will be automatically in your garage
