Failboat x Gex: Deluxe is a complete overhaul of the visuals, story, and mechanics of the original Failboat x Gex series of visual novels.
The story itself is more based on chapter one of failgex but still includes elements from the second and canceled third chapter of the series. It is also over 4x longer than the original story of chapter 1 and features branching choices which can affect what certain characters respond to you with.
The soundtrack includes 18 original tracks and can be streamed from Spotify or Apple Music.

Don't let the “Deluxe” or lack of any numbers scare you, Failboat x Gex: Deluxe is the definitive version of the failgex story, playing through the old visual novels is not necessary for this entry!
(plus the writing isn’t very good in hindsight so maybe just avoid those lol).

While initially expected for a late 2023 release, an early 2024 drop made the most sense with the pace we were working at, as well as allowing us to dedicate more time to make this fan game as good as it can possibly be! I hope if you find yourself here and download the game, you enjoy your time with it. This is by far my (bagel speaking here) biggest project ever, and probably will be the peak during my time in the Failboat community. This wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing people apart of the team and the work they put into making this leagues better than the original duology.
