"So Much to Give Inclusive Cafe" is a safe space an entire community
7In Cedars, Montgomery County, there is a cafe that is spreading love by providing a safe and
inclusive environment for people with special needs and their families.
It was created in 2022 when the founders saw a need, in the community, for more programs and
activities for those who have disabilities. In association with the Pillars of Love and Light
Charity, the cafe offers its employees a nurturing work environment.
Through their various roles in the restaurant, employees develop social and vocational skills,
allowing them to grow and thrive, all while serving up delicious food for breakfast, lunch and
dinner.
Employees participate in various events throughout each month like "Dinner and Bingo", trivia
nights, workshops and other special events.
On the first Thursday of each month, So Much to Give offers resource meetings for parents.
Typically, the meetings are to discuss housing opportunities, to allow for more independent
living.
For many adults with disabilities, finding suitable employment can be challenging, but this space
recognizes the need for empowering those feeling the impact of this adversity.
This restaurant truly has "So Much to Give" back to their community!
