Soccer kicks are NOT a game changer in MMA
541Soccer kicks and stomps to the head of a downed fighter are controversial techniques that have been illegal in the UFC since the year 2000. But not every MMA organization uses the unified rules of Mixed Martial Arts (ie: UFC rules)
So we not only have a substantial library of footage of fights using soccer kicks to study, but the experience of someone who has fought under that particular rule set.
Kicks and stomps to the head of a downed fighter only happen AFTER the downed fighter is no longer intelligently defending himself, at which point a competent referee should have already stopped the action before the soccer kicks and head stomps even started.
