"Soft Bits In" is an instrumental chiptune cover album which arranges the entirety of "The Soft Bulletin" by The Flaming Lips utilizing only the sound processors inside of the classic Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Gameboy (DMG).

The album is being funded through Kickstarter and will subsequently be pressed to vinyl by Kindercore Vinyl in Athens, GA.

This video features a test copy of the record I had lathed onto vinyl, playing on a Nintendo I combined with a portable record player. It may not be the best sounding turntable but I thought it was appropriate for the source material! This is also a first cut of the album, after which many improvements were made. The final press will sound much better (especially when played on a proper turntable).
