SUBSIM Series of Legends #6: This Bonus episode features the legendary Dan Dimitrescu. Dan was a designer/lead designer on the Silent Hunter 3/4/5 sims and a great friend to the Subsim community, as well as the greatest cross-promoter we’ve worked with.

Dan discusses the limitations developers face with piling on realism but keeping the game playable, when the decision was made to retool the SH3 campaign to be more dynamic, and what happened with SH5. Dan went on to co-found Killhouse games with Mihai Gosa and reached more success with the acclaimed Doorkickers series, available on Steam (see below).

Dan is a close friend with Onkel Neal and his family and a supporter of Wolfpack as well as an all-around cool dude.

This the last of the Series of Legends videos for 2022. Have a Merry Christmas!
