Some nerd talking about Half-Life: Source in a poorly done ONE TAKE REVIEW
Hello again, WORLD! This video was made on August 29th of 2023. I figured I'd scour the backlogs of some old content. I had a playthrough of the game, which would have been part of a longer running series, but I have since scrapped the idea. It would have required editing out some certain bits which might have come off as a bit distasteful (they weren't inherently bad; just hard to explain how they work). I plan on just making another playthrough. IF I MAKE IT, it would follow the original video's structure. The video started after the tram ride and would've ended after the loading zone that starts "OFFICE COMPLEX". I was bunny-hopping and strafing around everywhere, so I usually would end up waiting for events to trigger the next scene(s). In doing that there wasn't much to talk about. I think if I release the original cut, I'll name it like, "Bored guy tries speedrunning Half-Life: Source (PART 1 of 1)" and include some lore in the description.
Anyways, as per usual, if you like my content (which there is a variety of) please check out more of what I have. If you leave a like or subscribe, that's always appreciated. This channel is more of a "grassroots/you have to start somewhere" channel, so its purpose is to embody the days when Let's Plays and other content was less linear in terms of editing and cuts. This is as raw as it gets, haha! If you'd like to see what I may have in store for the future, leave a comment!
That's all. Until we meet again!
P.s. If it sounds like satire, it probably is. Just like this thumbnail I spent an hour on in some online photoshop editor. There's like 5 more saves of that thumbnail and they go from high quality to meme levels of crust.
Oh and here's the Steam page that was hidden after the original Half-Life got updated: https://store.steampowered.com/app/280/HalfLife_Source/
Valve really wants us to forget lmao
