For today's episode of Tales of Horror, we prepare for the release on the newest entry in the long dormant horror series with the title that started it all, Alone in the Dark. Released in 1992 for MS-DOS on the PC, this is the first true survival horror title that came out long before the genre was even coined. Developed and published by Infrogrames, we play as either detective Edward Carny or as Emily Hartwood as we investigate the mansion that once belonged to the now dead Jeremy Hartwood as we try to solve the truth behind the wealth man's suicide. What they learn about the homes true past will leave their lives in danger of the creature that now roam in the dark.
