Sonic 1 (SEGA Forever) android version
426The new version of Sonic 1 from the new "SEGA forever" service on Google play.
This version fixes the sound-test issue the previous version on Google Play had (i.e. the sound-test now works)!
I recorded footage showing the sound-test works and the Super Sonic & Debug-mode cheats works (played through GH). The ads suck. At least you can pay to get rid of them:

How to access level-select:
On start-up screen when (big) SEGA logo appears; tap S, E, G then A (if done right you should hear a ring noise). Then; just before title screen starts press down on the screen using both your thumbs roughly where the d-pad and jump buttons are (let go when Sonic has fully appeared on the title screen). This will take you to level select screen.
How to access Super-Sonic:
On the level select screen enter the following numbers on the sound-test: 4, 1, 2, 6 (you should then hear a ring noise which means it's worked).
How to access debug-mode:
On the level select screen enter the following numbers on the sound-test: 1, 9, 9, 1, 0, 6, 2, 3 (you should then hear a ring noise which means it's worked).
(You may have noticed when I first tried to input the debug-mode sequence I did it wrong, so I had to do it again).
