1The required water level of Sonic 3. This stage I actually found a lot more fun than Aquatic Ruin or Labyrinth Zones. Make sure to get Bubble Shields when possible so you have infinite air. The little piranhas that jump out of the water can latch on to you and take away your rings until you shake them off,and they also keep you from jumping. Robotnik this time for Act 2 flies high above you and tries to pull you into the blades by sucking up the water there. As the water pillar descends though you can step on it to hit him. He also drops explosives that can propel you up to hit him too. If you have the Bubble Shield you can simply bounce up and hit him. Got the rest of the Chaos Emeralds from this place,though I had to cut footage of the last Emerald since that stage was giving me trouble.
