Sonic 3 and Knuckles playthrough Part 5: Ice Cap Zone {Sonic}
2Love the music of this place. There's a few looping areas in this zone,kinda like the one in Labyrinth Zone. The enemy to watch for here is the floating ones covered in spikes,they shoot their spikes away so slowly. Few neat spots where you have to spindash to make a platform raise up with your momentum. Lots of spikes,areas where you can crushed,and places you can get frozen here,so watch your step. The miniboss of Act 1 is similar to Robotnik from Metropolis Zone,only much easier to beat. As for Act 2,Robotnik lowers a machine you can hop onto to hit him that emits ice that will freeze you from 3 directions. After several hits it breaks,but the ice will still come out. But again,made short work of him as Super Sonic.
