In Launch Base Zone Act 2, there's one point of the act were you encounter these spikes that sticks out of the wall. If you stand on the top of them and do an Spin Dash, when the spikes goes inside the wall again, you can stand in midair as long as you keep spin dashing there.

Its has no uses, so its just an pointless glitch. :-/

Note: The Spin Dash isn't requiered to perfom this glitch, as you can do it by smiply jumping at the top of the sideways spikes.
