Sonic Advance Reminded Me Why 2D is My Favorite | The Completionist
6,089I didn't have a Gameboy Advance growing up so I'm a little late to playing the Sonic Advance games...by 22 years. And playing this, really did feel like playing Sonic again for the first time and made me appreciate these 2D Sonic games.

Dr Eggman has hatched another evil plot to build his Eggman Empire by capturing Animals and turning them into robots, as well as gathering the seven Chaos Emeralds in order to gain unimaginable power. Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends Miles Tails Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, and Amy Rose set off on an adventure to free the Animals and stop Dr Eggman on the GBA.
Sonic Advance features four playable characters and marks the first playable appearance of Amy Rose on a 2D title. The game borrows elements from the original Sonic the Hedgehog titles for the Sega Genesis, but with the post-Dreamcast art style for the characters which was introduced in Sonic Adventure. The game also includes multiplayer features and mini-games for Sonic Advance gameplay on the gameboy advance.
