And now we draw to a close with the Sonic Advance playthrough with the final level X Zone.

This level has 3 bosses. 2 are the first bosses from Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 (YAWN, rehash). But the final boss is a NIGHTMARE. He is guarded and when he's open to attack you literally have a split second to either dodge his attacks or hit him. The trouble is he's completely random when he decided to open up or what attack he uses. No there's no safe strategy for this boss, you mostly have to get lucky, and when it comes down to that, that just ruins it for me.

Overall I don't have much to say about this game. I did like it at one point, but after getting the chance to play this again it feels horribly underwhelming and has some of the worst level design in any Sonic game (and the levels are a defining point of the Sonic series, so good job fucking up on that). But the game still has it's moments of fun, extra characters and a wonderful Snow level, so Sonic fans should at least give it a try, just don't expect miracles.
