I've wanted to do a Longplay of this game for a while. I ended up participating in a race of it (for Games Raced Awfully) a month before this stream {10/13/2020}. Otherwise, this is a semi-blind playthrough. I might make a Gex: Enter the Gecko playlist, assuming I do any speedrun categories for it to display competency at video games.

This counts as a "Sonic & Elise Go To White Castle" entry, since Gex: Enter the Gecko is a superior counterpart of Super Mario 64 and falls under similar tropes to the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Gex is more demonstrably "90's" in presentation and candour than Sonic, and it shows. Some of it still holds up to the modern era, but otherwise could do with a huge overhaul if Gex ever gets remastered or a Gex 4 appears.

This game is good, even if I grumble about personal issues (depth perception, lack of muscle memory, having just recovered from evacuating two Hurricanes in a row) which make the experience take longer than I had initially estimated.
