This is a Fan Game that has an interesting name, although it made reality a concept that many would have said it would be impossible to create (even the thought of it would make some people laugh). That is to play Mario levels (to be more specific, Super Mario Bros. 1, at least at its beginning) as Sonic and his friends.

Being made in a hack of a Game Developing Program named Game Maker, this fan game has been around for a long time, bringing along updates of all kind (more levels, more characters, customizable levels and/or characters, a level editor and more) and as of the date of this video (and its thumbnail if it wasn't obvious enough) it's on version 1.9.
