Sigh...Alright.. Here't the story.
I played 3-4 missions every 4 hours since the start of the event. I even played at night (I happened to be awake at the time), so you could say I didn't miss a single opportunity to unlock her. So I did. All that effort...and for what?
I could only bring myself to record 12 races with Spring Cream, after which I just couldn't take it anymore. After I expressed my (admittedly, heated but without insulting anybody) initial frustration on Discord (null space achievement unlocked :D), here's my thoughts about level 1 Spring Cream:
- Her artwork is just friggin' adorable. Probably the best design of a special character out of them all! At least, in TOP 3! The other awesome designs are Witch Rouge and Lunar Blaze.
- Her new trap is really good. Very dangerous thing.
Unfortunately, that's about all the positive words I have to say. Next is what made me very frustrated in the first minutes of playing as Spring Cream.

As you can see in the video, almost all races resulted in me finishing 4th place. I'm a player with average skills but I was never, EVER this bad with any other level 1 character.
- I have absolutely no idea why anyone would create a character, whos skill works against THIS SAME CHARACTER's other skill. I'm talking about the new trap. You see, when you get hit by it, you are slowed down quite a bit by changing lanes. And here's the best part: Spring Cream's boost REQUIRES you to change lanes. So, if you happen to get hit by your own or another Spring Cream's trap, not only does your boost become useless, you will be SLOWED DOWN if you use it!!! That means, if you get hit with this trap, you:
A) Lose rings
B) Get stopped
C) Cannot use your boost to catch up with other players
D) The effect lasts quite a few seconds.
E) While the effect is active, you WILL be slowed down by changing lanes AND by trying to use your own boost! :D
F) Get hit by this trap a couple of times in a race, and all you'll get will be 4th place.

Long story short, Spring Cream looks awesome and cute but she's broken as hell. If you're one of the top players, you will likely disagree with me, but if you're a player with average skill or below, you're gonna hate playing as her.


P.S. Never mind the broken user interface and the broken camera. These issues appeared in the latest update. The developers are working on fixing them, so these problems should be gone soon. The boosts will probably get slightly better in the future as well, but don't expect to see the old boosts. It's not happening (sadly).
