I finally beat the game! I do like it, though if I'm looking at it all as a whole and being honest, and if I were to review it, I would have to give it a 6.5/10 rating.

__The negatives:
1.) The targetting system doesn't work properly
2.) The game glitched and held me at the end of a zone after I beat a boss because it failed to end the zone
3.) Every character is cliched and annoying
4.) The game tries too hard to have dialogue that sounds "cool" and just sounds lame
5.) The help system is redundant and requires you to press something on the gamepad to bring up a prompt rather than telling you on your TV
6.) Jumping around on walls with parkour isn't explained
7.) One of the bosses blocks an attack, which is the only means of beating him, more than it actually beats him when it's clearly not suppose to be blockable
8.) There's a huge difficulty spike at the end of the game
9.) There's zones within regions which don't make sense, such as an underwater grinding zone in the Lava Mountain area
10.) Animals are required for progression through the game
11.) ICE PHYSICS! They suck.
12.) One of the stages sends you back into an infinite returning loop unless you find the proper path
13.) Sliding on sand on one zone may make you dizzy, going from one side of the screen to the other, while sliding on another portion of the same zone will have poor controls, making movement really stiff until you actually do move, then hard or impossible to actually change direction
14.) INSTANT DEATH BOMBS! You can barely jump over them! Instant death stuff like that is cheap and should never be used!
15.) Useless Game Over screen. It ends the entire stage, so continuing from a Game Over has no more purpose than continuing the game after it sends you back to the title screen
16.) A zone has climbing areas which kill you if you drop back down to a portion you've been to before, and this may happen easily if you fail to get enough momentum to properly climb a wall. There's also another that does a similar thing, but instead of the screen cut-off being death, there's just lava chasing you up as fast as you can climb
17.) Gamepad only

__The positives
1.) The game looks pretty and runs at a rather consistent 60fps
2.) The platforming is actually pretty good, with the exception of a few zones
3.) The game controls well, with the exception of the targetting system
4.) The music is nice
5.) There's extra stages to go to after finishing the story
6.) The game starts off really promising and does well with a control style that's new to the Sonic series, and can be used again in the future if perfected
7.) The overall experience is enjoyable. There's really only a handful of poorly designed zones, and the rest are ones you may like to run through after unlocking Super Sonic

Even though there's a lot more negatives listed than positives, lets not forget quality over quantity. The game is pretty enjoyable, but it is imperfect and quite flawed. I hope to see the system used in this game return for future Sonic games, but only if they perfect the new system, and improve the dialogue, personalities, and level design.
