So it's not really Hyper Sonic, but I tried to do what I could to emulate it as well as i could. first was making sure the game didn't update the pallet so i could write whatever I wanted there. the problem is I got lazy and just had it generate random colors to stick in there. if I were to do it again id have color cycles and make 7 custom pallets to fit perfectly. next was recreating the double jump, so i wrote some scripts so when both jump buttons are pressed we get that directional double jump motion, its not perfect as it will just take you if you let it, that might be possible to fix but who knows.
