The final level of the game. Metallic Madness, Robotniks own base of operations. Japanese soundtrack still owns by the way.

Tails does not get much out of the game. All you get is his chance of playing the game, and at the ending, just credits. No Intro, No ending, You just unlock tails, get slapped into the game the moment you select him and then you are greeted with credits at the end of his gameplay. So you don't need to get 7 Timestones, HOWEVER.....

I will replay this whole game, as Tails in attempt to destory ALL Robot Generators, AND Metal Sonic Hologram machines for the achievement; Without collecting the Timestones to automatically destory all robot generators that are ONLY located AND destoryed in the past. The Past is the key to unlocking the good future. So Yeah.
