Sonic the Hedgehog (Game Gear) - Sky Base Zone + Ending
2Hello everyone, and welcome to the first video of February! In this video, we finish off Sonic 1 on the Game Gear with Sky Base Zone. I got fairly lucky when recording this video... For the first stage, I nearly died seeing as I didn't quite go fast enough for the strategies which I normally use for it. For the second stage, it comes down to complete luck; the bullets always fire in random directions, and you have to have really good reaction times to avoid them (you'll see how lucky I got once you've seen it). And for the final stage, it's actually a pretty easy boss, that can be made easier by doing a glitch where you clip into the glass by doing a well-timed jump. It was kinda scuffed for when I did it in this video, but still managed to pull it off, and complete the game. Likewise, we get to see the Good Ending; all 6 Chaos Emeralds clear away the smoke that's in the sky. Not a majorly impactful ending, but it's still the best one regardless, and I'm glad to have gotten it. And of course, we get to see the credits.
