This is something me and Xan1242 have been working on and it took quite a while to accomplish. As much as I would have wanted to do this on the Wii version, we can't because the files are compressed unlike the ps2 version. We did include the Wii textures of Super Sonic and Xan tested this on a PS2 and it had no lag whatsoever. Oh and we replaced the music.
