Sony's and Microsoft's recently published CMA Documents are pretty interesting, and reveal two very important dates. While Sony's Complaint to the UK's competition regulators reveals expected release date of playstation 6 console, Microsoft's CMA Document reveals the Release of Grand theft Auto 6.
Sony Expressed their concern over Microsoft's Acquisition of Activision Blizzard would cause significant harm to consumers, competition, and developers. Consumers would need to buy Xbox console to play call of duty games, Sony could not compete as there is no big game as Call of duty on the PS5, and Indie developers would get worse options when putting their games on xbox game pass.
The biggest problem for Sony is that Microsoft has not agreed to put Call of Duty Games on Playstation Plus, and have plans to put them on Xbox game pass. In terms of new Call of Duty games, Microsoft revealed that they plan to keep Activision games on playstation only until 2027, which could harm the sales of Playstation 6 console which sony plans to release sometime after 2027. Exact year of PS6 Console release is redacted in the document, but we can expect it to launch some time between 2027 and 2030.
