It may be tempting, but the Ice Armor is completely useless against the magma grounds, hence the warning from the mermaid Kanna earlier on. But seriously, it really looks conceivable that the Ice Armor would allow you to walk on magma without burning..

Thank goodness the Soul of Shield was released before coming here. If I had to release that Soul here, I'd probably go insane.

Although the Mermaid's tear was not necessary to proceed to the next island, it certainly makes traversing this island a lot easier as there is a lot crap that can hurt you.
Blazer:
Those gray gorillas were weird. What the hell were they? Android apes? or do they have Titanium hides?
